My mother turned 86 on Monday. I called to wish her Happy Birthday and we ended up talking about everything from her thoughts on Obama’s trip to my niece’s part in the new play in town. Here is a picture I took of her at my son’s birthday party last summer.
You see that look she’s giving me? It’s the same look my granddaughter Tania gives me when I try to take her picture. I find it very amusing that the same woman who photographed our every waking moment when we were kids gives me that “I told you not to take my picture” look when the tables are turned. I love you Mom.
That’s so true.
It has to make you feel better that you and I have carried on the shutterbug tradition, but are total hams for the camera. :D
I can’t wait for warmer weather to go visit her in VT. It snowed in VT and NYC today!
