For the record: I always get M&M’s anniversary wrong, think it’s October 17 because I was 17 when they got married.

It is easy for me to remember my own anniversary because it’s on a minor holiday – Columbus Day, October 12. As far as memory goes, I had Ron’s birthday down incorrectly until fairly recently.

I also remember visiting your Great Gramma Higgins soon after Stefanie was born. Great Gramma, “Here’s our little sweetheart, born just 10 days ago on July 24th.” Me, “actually it’s the 25th”. Great Gramma, “no my dear, it’s the 24th. I’m sure of it”. Me, “I’m pretty sure I know her birthday, me being her mother and all”.

I guess it runs in the family.
